Time: 11:14
It rained earlier this morning, but now it has cleared up and it's pretty cloudy. It's 63˚ out right now. The day length is 12 hours 49 minutes from sunrise to sunset. There is no constant wind, but there are 4mph gusts going North to Northwest.
Queen Anne's Lace & other wild flowers
puddles after the rain
grass clippings pile & large plants
where the water usually is - I'm pretty sure these are muskrat holes
bugs on a soybean plant
wild strawberry plant
milkweed
another animal hole
Here's a little grasshopper that decided to jump on my shirt!
When I was on the plot, I saw a lot of insects. There were monarch butterflies and a bunch of smaller butterflies. I could hear crickets chirping and saw a lot of grasshoppers jumping in front of me in the denser grass. I could smell the peculiar wet grass clippings smell.
Excellent start here, too! Great work...keep it up!
